Jammu, Oct 13: Senior Superintendent of Police Jammu, Chandan Kohli, has been appointed as the Deputy Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat of the Government of India. This appointment is based on a deputation for a duration of four years. Kohli belongs to the IPS (AGMUT:2013) batch and originally served in Jammu and Kashmir Cadre. The official order from the Government of India, a copy of which is available with Kashmir Scroll, states that the President has approved Kohli’s appointment to the rank of Deputy Secretary in the Senior Executive Cadre of the Cabinet Secretariat. The officer will be in Level-12 of the Pay Matrix during this deputation period, starting from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever comes first.
