DYSSO Baramulla celebrates National Sports Day with Zeal & Enthusiasm

Baramulla: To commemorate the birth anniversary of the legendary sports icon Major Dhyan Chand, the Department of Youth Services & Sports, District Baramulla in collaboration with the Municipal Council Baramulla, organized a vibrant celebration of National Sports Day.

The event saw the participation of nearly 20,000 students from across 18 educational zones in the district, engaging in a wide range of sports activities.

National Sports Day witnessed a series of sports events at the GDC Ground Baramulla. The events were successfully executed with the collective efforts of dedicated Physical Education Teachers, Rehbar-e-Khel Teachers, and Ground staff from the Youth Services & Sports Department.

The National Sports Day celebration marked a significant step towards promoting physical fitness, sportsmanship, and camaraderie among the youth of District Baramulla.
