‘Modiji’s Khelo India has revolutionized sports sector in India’: Dr Andrabi
Srinagar: Dr Darakhshan Andrabi J&K Waqf Board Chairperson has today inaugurated the Women’s Pencak Silat League 2023 at Indoor Stadium in Srinagar. Dr Andrabi was the Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony of the event organised by Asmita under Khelo India mission of government of India. These young girl sports persons exhibited their talent on the occasion. Many prominent teams are participating in the event.
Dr Andrabi presented certificates of participation to the teams and individual sportswomen. Speaking on the occasion Dr Andrabi hailed the efforts of Asmita for giving a platform to the talented girls of the game. She said that in J&K, a boost to the sports sector during the past three years has gifted us talented medalists.
“Our Girl Power on the field & on the turf is amazing and we are proud of our excellent winners of different games at National & at International platforms”, said Andrabi.
She said that the Khelo India Mission has revolutionized our sports sector and India has emerged as a huge Sports Power also.
