Srinagar: The grandmother of Srinagar-based journalist Bilal Bhat has passed away on Monday at her residence in Nigeen Hazratbal.
The deceased Noora Begum, wife of Late Abdul Gaffar Bhat passed away after a brief illness.
Meanwhile the journalist fraternity has expressed grief over the demise of Noora and extended sympathies with the bereaved family, especially to Bilal Bhat.
The Rasm-e-Chahrum of the departed soul, as per family, will be held on 24-08-2023 (Thursday) at ancestral graveyard Sadribal Hazratbal Srinagar.
