Pulwama Gunfight: Search Operation Resumes After Being Suspended For Night

Srinagar: Search operation at gunfight site resumes after being suspended for night in Parigam area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday morning.

A top police officer told GNS that the operation was suspended yesterday due to darkness, however the cordon was strengthened around the encounter spot.

As the first light of this morning came in, the search operation was resumed. He further said that its dense paddy field and operation may take longer time than usual.

Yesterday, a gunfight broke out between militants and security forces in Parigam area.
