Work harder for speedy investigation of cases without compromising on evidence: SSP

Jammu, July 8 : Senior Superintendent of Police, Economic Offences Wing, Crime Branch, Jammu, Shailender Singh on Saturday asked his subordinates to work harder for speedy investigation of cases without compromising on evidence.

Reviewing the performance on the Investigation front of Economic Offences Wing (Crime Branch Jammu) for the First two quarters of the current year from January to June here at a meeting, Singh, assessed the performance besides taking measures for expediting the process of foolproof Investigation of cases and probe in Preliminary Verifications on merit.

The Investigating Officers were impressed upon to work harder for speedy investigation of cases without compromising on evidence and Probe in Preliminary verifications for the next two quarters of current year for achievement of the targets and delivery of justice to the aggrieved, said an official spokesman.

The top cop laid thrust on making efforts for collection of substantial evidence through professional Investigation of cases in a well coordinated manner so as to ensure delivery of justice to the aggrieved by this premier Investigating Agency of the UT of Jammu and Kashmir as part of the Criminal Justice system.

He said that the meeting was attended by all Investigating Officers, Prosecutors and other concerned staff of Economic Offences Wing of CB Jammu both through offline and online mode. Appropriate instructions were issued to the IO’s after thorough interactions and deliberations on various issues.
