Army’s BDS destroys over half dozen live shells along LoC in Poonch

Poonch, Apr 16: The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) of Army on Thursday destroyed over a half dozen live mortar shells in Line of Control (LoC) villages of Mendhar sub division of Poonch district in Jammu region.

Sources told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that in last 72 hours, cross LoC firing took place at many areas of Balakote, Mendhar and KG sectors of Mendhar during which number of shells fired by Pakistan Army landed and exploded in villages close to Line Of Control (LoC)

“However some shells didn’t explode and were seen lying in the area,” sources said, stating that these lives shells over half a dozen in number were screened in last 24 hours and Army’s Bomb Disposal Squad destroyed all these shells through controlled explosions—
