Police facilitates meeting with NOKs of Police Martyrs in Baramulla

 

Baramulla, June 27 :In order to express solidarity and perceive the well-being of the families of Police Martyrs, Police facilitated a meeting with the next of kins (NOKs) of Police Martyrs in Baramulla.

The meeting was organized at District Police Lines Baramulla and was chaired by SP Hqrs Baramulla Ms. Divya D-IPS. The meeting was also attended by DySP DAR DPL Baramulla Dr. Peerzada Aijaz Ahmad and other officers of DPHQ/ DPL Baramulla.

The meeting was attended by large number of NOKs of Police martyrs of Baramulla district. The aim of the meeting was to take stock of welfare of the families of Police Martyrs who laid their precious lives in safeguarding the sovereignty and integrity of the nation. SP Hqrs Baramulla gave a patient hearing to the issues and grievances put forth by NOKs and assured them that their grievances will be redressed on priority.

SP Hqrs Baramulla informed the participants that various welfare measures have been taken by the Police department for the benefit of the next of kins and all the police units are committed to provide every possible assistance to the next of kins of police martyrs on priority.

She further said that police martyrs are unforgettable members of Police Parivaar and taking care of their next of kins is prime responsibility of police department as martyrs sacrificed their lives for the sake of nation. She also informed the next of kins of martyrs to approach his office anytime for any assistance. Next of kins of police martyrs expressed their satisfaction and hoped to further strengthen this bond.
