Baramulla Police Solved Livestock Theft Case; Accused Arrested, Stolen Goats Recovered

Baramulla, June 27:  Police Station Bijhama received a written application from  Bilal Ahmad Dar S/O Khazir Mohd Dar R/O Salamabad Dachina stating therein that some unknown thieves has stolen away three goats from Salamabad Dachna jungle.

Acting upon this, case under relevant sections was registered at *Police Station Bijhama and investigation was set in motion.

During the course of investigation, SHO PS Bijhama Inspr Irfan Ahmad  called many suspects for questioning. With strenuous efforts, one suspect namely Parvaiz Ahmad Mughal S/O Mohd Shafi Mughal R/O Salamabad* was zeroed in and during his questioning he confessed his involvement in commission of crime and on his disclosure all the stolen property was recovered and the accused stands arrested in the instant case.

Investigation of the case is going on.

*The stolen property (Goats) was handed over to the legal owner.

General public of the area appreciated the action by Baramulla Police against the thieves.
