DDC Member Booked For Assault in Srinagar: Police

Srinagar, May 31:Police on Wednesday said that it has booked DDC member Aijaz Hussain in a case of assault in Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.

Srinagar police in a tweet wrote, ” On the basis of complaint lodged by  Nazim Hussain Bhat & Imdad Ali Mir, FIR no 51/2023 u/s 323,341 of IPC dated 30.05.2023 registered in Panthachowk PS against DDC member Aijaz Hussain Rather on offences of wrongful restraint & voluntarily causing hurt.

Yesterday, a video went viral, in which a few people alleged  DDC member Aijaz Hussain and his PSOs were manhandled.
