G20 Summit has sparked upswing in J&K tourism industry, garnering global attention: Ashok Koul

Srinagar, May 25: The BJP General Secretary of the Jammu and Kashmir unit, Ashok Koul on Thursday said that the recently concluded G20 Summit in the union territory has sparked a significant upswing in the UTs  tourism industry, garnering international attention.

He said that the decision by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to host the summit in Jammu and Kashmir has presented an unprecedented opportunity to showcase and promote the state’s vast tourism potential on a global scale.
“Gratitude pours in from all corners, as the Jammu and Kashmir administration, under the efficient leadership of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, flawlessly executed the event and made meticulous arrangements,” he added.
He also expresses heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for his visionary decision, which has opened new avenues for the advancement of tourism in Jammu and Kashmir.
He further said the successful conduct of the G20 Summit underlines the state’s capability to host such prestigious global events and marks a moment of triumph for the entire administration.
“With the world’s eyes now fixed on Jammu and Kashmir, the union territory is poised to witness an unprecedented influx of tourists, eager to explore its mesmerizing beauty and cultural heritage,” he added.
