Kissan Sampark Abhiyan witnesses overwhelming response from farming community at Ganderbal

Ganderbal, May 2:  The Kisan Sampark Abhiyan (Farmers Orientation programme) under Holistic Agriculture Development Plan continued at the five venues across five blocks of district Ganderbal today.

 The programme was held at five venues across the district at Nunner, Rabitar, Manigam A, Kijpora and Safapora B.

 The participating farmers were made aware about the programmes under the Holistic Agriculture Development Plan (HADP) which shall be implemented in the coming five years.

 Lectures regarding the programmes and schemes were delivered by the team of Resource Persons from agriculture and allied departments.

The event witnessed a huge participation of farmers’ mostly unemployed youth at each venue and more than 700 farmers were registered for the baseline survey by the Skill gap study resource persons.

The PRI members present at the occasion lauded the efforts of the departments for educating the farmers regarding the Holistic Agriculture Development Plan of their respective panchayats.
