Fire broke out near Gulmarg Cable Car Gandola Project

Srinagar, 25thMarch, CNS: Fire broke out in a hut adjacent to Cable Car Gandola, in tourist resort of Gulmarg on Wednesday afternoon, resulting the complete damage of the hut.

According to CNS, fire erupted from a Floriculture Department hut, adjacent to Gulmarg Cable Car Gandola Project, which engulfed it in minutes. Although a joint team of police and fire services rushed to the spot; however fire was so massive that it could not be controlled..

Reports said that the furniture and other material in the hut were turned into ashes.

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately; however police is on the job to ascertain the reasons behind the fire.

A case regarding the incident was registered in Gulmarg police station and investigations in the matter were taken up.
