Div Com Kmr inspects physical work progress on Z- Morh tunnel

Ganderbal, Mar 18: The Divisional Commissioner (Div Com) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri today took an extensive tour of Sonamarg area where he inspected the ongoing work process on Z-Morh tunnel.

During the visit, the Div Com was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shyambir, Tehsildar Gund and other concerned.

On the occasion, the Div Com was briefed about the progress made on various works of Z-Morh tunnel including construction of approach roads, lanes, protective walls and drains besides other affiliated works of the project.

After the physical inspection of East & West Portals of Z-Morh tunnel, the Div Com stressed upon speeding up the construction work by engaging more men and machinery.

Pertinently, the Z-Morh tunnel will facilitate locals and tourists to access Sonamarg during the winter season as well which remains cutoff during winters due to heavy snowfall.
