Extension Of Online Registration Period For Army Recruitment Rally 2023 For UT Of J&K And Ladakh

 

 

Srinagar, Mar 14:    Online registration for enrolment to Indian Army as AGNIVEER for Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh commenced on 16 Feb 2023 as widely reported by several news agencies and presently the registration is underway. The last date for online registration was 15 March 2023.

Defence Services have intimated that due to high enthusiasm and heavy demand from prospective candidates, online registration period has been extended upto 20 Mar 2023 to benefit maximum youth from the UT of J & K and UT of Ladakh to benefit from the scheme.

 

The recruitment rally for recruitment as AGNIVEERS under the AGNIPATH scheme by Army Recruitment Office, Srinagar is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in June 2023 at Anantnag High Ground, South Kashmir.

 

All eligible unmarried male candidates born between 1 Oct 2002 to 1 Apr 2006 (both dates inclusive) with requisite educational qualifications from UT of J&K  belonging to Srinagar, Anantnag, Baramulla, Pulwama, Badgam, Kupwara, Shopian, Ganderbal, Bandipura and Kulgam districts and  UT of  Ladakh belonging to Leh and Kargil districts can apply for enrolment under categories of AGNIVEER General Duty, AGNIVEER Technical, AGNIVEER Clerk/Store Keeper Technical and AGNIVEER Tradesmen. Candidates are advised to register online at website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in at the earliest.  Indian Army further amplified that this would be the first recruitment under the new procedure introduced with the written examination being scheduled before the physical and medical test. Army Recruiting Office, Srinagar has advised that recruitment is a free service and selection is fair and purely based on merit.  No money is required to bepaid to anyone.
