EPFO asks people to refrain from visiting its offices, provides digital alternatives

New Delhi, Mar 19 : In view of the spread of Coronavirus, Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) appealed to people to refrain from visiting its offices.
Alok Yadav, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, EPFO (Central), Delhi, issued a statement, saying that people can make enquiries on the the telephone number 011-27371136, people can also write to the e-mail address, ro.delhicentral@epfindia.gov.in to redress their grievences.
The EPFO, a body under Ministry of Labour and Employement, has also provided a WhatsApp number to contact, 8595520478.
The statement also said that sanitisers and masks are available in all the EPFO offices.
With the number of positive cases of Coranavirus raising, the government is taking all steps to contain the deadly virus.
