Leopard Trying to Cross Road Hit By Unknown Vehicle in Achabal Anantnag, Dies

Srinagar, Mar 2: A leopard was killed after getting hit by an unknown vehicle in Achabal area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district this evening, official sources said.

They told GNS that the leopard got hit and died subsequently, while it was trying to cross the road at Mohripora village in Achabal Anantnag.

A Wildlife Department official confirming the incident told GNS that they have lifted the carcass of the leopard from the site and will be buried as per departmental protocol.
