Press Conference Held By Director Recruiting On New Recruitment Procedure

Srinagar, Feb 22 :A media briefing was conducted on 22 February 2023 at Army Recruiting Office Srinagar, Haft Chinar, Srinagar by Director Recruiting, Army Recruiting Office, Srinagar on the new enrolment procedure for recruitment for JCOs/OR into Indian Army with online CEE (Common Entrance Exam) as first filter.
Director Recruiting, Army Recruiting Office Srinagar, briefed the media on the salient aspects of the new recruitment procedure for JCOs/OR into the Indian Army under the AGNIPATH scheme, its advantages and transformation measures adopted to achieve the same. The briefing was interfaced with video and audio clips in Urdu.
Special measures undertaken by Army Recruiting Office Srinagar for wide dissemination of the new procedure and online registration through civil administration and educational institutions in Kashmir was highlighted.
The emphasis of the briefing was on the methodology of conduct of online CEE (Common Entrance Exam) in Phase I before the conduct of recruitment rally in phase II. Additional features incorporated to attract technical qualified persons by incentivising candidates of 10th class and ITI / polytechnic qualification and 12th class and ITI / polytechnic diploma was highlighted. Additional bonus marks available to sports persons, NCC candidates, Information technology qualified candidates was also highlighted. The media briefing was well represented by media and culminated after the interaction session.
