Medical Camp Conducted At Koyul Village

 

Srinagar, Jan 28:Koyul is a border village located near Line of Actual Control at an altitude of nearly 13800 feet. The village is located in one of the remotest areas of Eastern Ladakh with a population of approximately 70 families. The village is devoid of any local medical facility in its near vicinity. Therefore, Formations under Fire and Fury Corps organized a medical camp at Koyul village on 22 Jan 2023.

The camp focused at providing medical aid to the villagers and counsel them on various health related issues such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, osteoarthritis, cardiac diseases, anemia, fungal infections and malnutrition in children. The team also emphasised upon significance of timely medical checkups, exercises and dietary modifications in preventing lifestyle diseases.

The community members and Government Officials assisted the formation in successful conduct of the camp and lauded the efforts of Indian Army in reaching out to the community members.
