Aurangabad,Maharashtra,Mar 13 : Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) on Friday postponed the scheduled special general body meeting as well as cancelled annual gathering of AMC schools as a preventive measure.
According to the city Mayor Nandkumar Ghodele, In Pune and Nashik Coronavirus affected patients were being treated and both these cities were very close to Aurangabad city.
Therefore, it could not be denied that there was a possibility of getting affected by the virus.
He added that, as per Municipal Commissioner urge to him through a letter to prevent crowds as a preventive measure, the annual gathering of schools has been cancelled along with special meeting of the Municipal Corporation.
