Trio injured as car rams into electric police in North Kashmir


Baramulla, Jan 24: At least three persons on board were injured after their car rammed into a roadside electric pole in North Kashmir’s Sopore due to alleged negligent driving.

The incident occurred near Check-Hygam area falling under the jurisdiction of police station Tarzoo, Sopore.

Sources said that an Alto (JK05G-9549) car driven by one Muhammad Yaqoob of Khanpora Baramulla rammed into an electric pole. Besides the driver, two others on board sustained injuries and were taken to GMC Hospital Baramulla.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case under relevant sections of law.
