J&K SDRF, NDRF celebrate its Annual Raising Day at SDRF Bn Hqrs Srinagar

Srinagar, Jan 19: J&K SDRF and NDRF celebrated its Annual Raising Day today on 19th January at SDRF Bn Hqrs, Srinagar.

The contingents of SDRF and NDRF presented a March past/ Parade jointly on the occasion.

Firdous Iqbal, Divisional Commandant, Homeguards, Kashmir presided over the function and took salute on March past.

Addressing officers/officials and contingents of SDRF/NDRF, the Divisional Commandant highlighted the dedication exhibited by SDRF and NDRF while conducting Rescue operations during disasters and conducting Disaster preparedness Awareness programmes in different institutions and at the community level.

Wasim Qadri, SSP, Commandant SDRF 1st Bn was also present during the Raising Day function. Besides, various officers of SDRF/NDRF and Civil Defense participated in the Raising Day function including Dev Darshan, Dy Commandant NDRF, Amara Naseem, Dy Controller, Civil Defence and Rashad Khan, Dy SP SDRF.
