Police recover brown sugar from vehicle, 4 arrested

Anantnag, Jan 17: Police in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district arrested four persons after recovering brown sugar from their possession.

Police made these arrests during routine checking at main chowk Khanabal falling under the jurisdiction of police station Anantnag.

The 1.5 kg brown sugar-like substance was hidden in an Alto vehicle being used by the accused men, three among them hail from Deva Coloney Jangalat Mandi Anantnag while one is a resident of Brazloo, Yaripora Kulgam.

Police have registered a case against the accused men under relevant sections of law.
