Joint Intelligence and Operational Conference held at Ganderbal

Trends, Methodologies for Intelligence Gathering and Conduct of Operations discussed

Ganderbal, Jan 12: A joint intelligence and operational conference was organised by Headquarters 3 Sector Rashtriya Rifles on Thursday to discuss ways to improve operational synergy and cooperation between the Army, Police and Central Para Military Forces.

The conference was held at 24 Rashtriya Rifles Battalion Headquarters based at Duderhama, Ganderbal.

According to an official handout released by Army, the joint conference of various stake holders was held to have a seamless and symbiotic integration of various security agencies in terms of information sharing in order to produce actionable intelligence for conduct of operations.

“All participating agencies shared and jointly reviewed the latest operational and intelligence picture of Ganderbal District”, Army said in the statement.

“Various upcoming trends and methodologies used by security agencies for intelligence gathering and conduct of operations were also discussed”, they said. All stakeholders appreciated the relentless operations being conducted by various security forces in their respective domains to ensure peace and stability in Ganderbal District.

The conference was attended by Commander 3 Sector RR, DIG (Central Kashmir Range), DIG CRPF (North), DIG CRPF (South), DIG SSB, Commanding Officers of 24 Rashtriya Rifles, & 34 Assam Rifles, SSP Ganderbal, Cmdt 115 Bn CRPF, Cmdt 118 Bn CRPF, Cmdt 54 Bn CRPF, Cmdt 44 Bn CRPF, Cmdt 49 Bn CRPF, Adhoc Cmdt 3rd SSB, ASP Ganderbal & 2IC 45 Bn CRPF.
