Kishtwar , Dec 16: The Senior Superintendent of Police Kishtwar Sh. Shafqat Hussain Batt-JKPS held a crime review meeting of district kishtwar at DPO Kishtwar.
Addl SP Kishtwar Sh. Rajinder Singh-JKPS, SDPOs and all the investigating Officers of these units were present in the meeting.
In the meeting SSP Kishtwar, examined the performance of Police Stations. The main focus of the meeting was to improve the quality of Investigation and disposal accordingly. SSP also directed all the officers and the police personnel on ground to go tough against the people involved in the social evils e.g drug paddlers, eve teasing, bike stunt, Road Romeo etc.
SSP kishtwar advised the police officers posted in the district in various capacities to provide a good policing to the general public and give a tough time to anti national and antisocial elements. He directed that there is zero tolerance to corruption, burking of crime and indiscipline at any level. He said that the efficiency of police can be gauged from the time it takes to respond to the day to day situations. He asserted that alongwith quickness in response, the polite behavior and sympathy at heart are required while dealing with the problems of general public.
