Srinagar, Dec 8: Police on Thursday said that an old rusted used shell was found in Mendhar sector of Jammu division.
A police official told GNS that a rusted fired shell was found by children while they were playing near Gholad School.
People later informed the security forces about the presence of the shell, he said.
The officer further stated that the shell might have fallen this side of the area during ceasefire violation.
