Srinagar, Dec 8 : Independent candidate Aabida Bano has taken a lead over her rival candidates, securing 1277 votes, as the second round of counting process concludes for Hajin (A) DDC constituency in Bandipora.
Figures available with GNS, read as; Peoples Conference candidate Ateeqa Bano having secured 1109 votes, Kulsooma Begum of Bharatiya Janata Party 227, Naza Bano (Independent Candidate) 1196 and Zahida Begum getting 138.
A total of 387 votes have been counted as rejected, the figures read.
