Cong and allies protest during Question Hour in Lok Sabha over Karnataka crisis

New Delhi, :  Opposition Congress and its allies on Friday created ruckus in Lok Sabha during Question Hour over the ongoing political crisis in Karnataka .
As soon as the Question Hour commenced in the House, Opposition members from Congress and DMK entered the well of the House and raised slogans over the Karnataka political crisis.
They displayed placards of ‘ Save Democacy in Karnataka and We want Justice.’
Speaker Om Birla told the Opposition members who were protesting during Question Hour that the House had agreed that state-related issues will not be discussed in the Parliament but he had allowed Opposition members to raise the issue of Karnataka political crisis twice during Zero Hour.
As protests from Opposition members continued, the Speaker assured the Opposition Members that he would allow their leader to speak on the issue during the Zero Hour.
“Question Hour is important, I will allow your party leader to speak during Zero Hour on the issue.
Let proceedings continue,” he said.
After the assurance from the Speaker, the Opposition members returned to their respective seats and the Question Hour continued in the House.\\\\
Amid heated debate over the resignation of 15 MLAs of the ruling JD(S)-Congress coalition
government, triggering a crisis in the ruling coalitin in Karnataka, Governor Vajubhai R Vala asked Chief Minster HD Kumaraswamy to prove his majority, before 1330 hrs on Friday.
