Operation of 01 Medical store closed down, another served show-cause notice at Chawalgam, Kulgam

Kulgam, Nov 30 : A team of Drug Control Officers today closed down the operation of one medical establishment at Chawalgam, Kulgam and served show cause notice to another drug store for non compliance to the record maintenance with respect to narcotic/schedule drugs.

The Officers informed that recently the operation of many such medical establishments have been disallowed and 7 licenses firms/shops suspended in District Kulgam for non adherence to the conditions and norms of Drug & Cosmetic Act.

It has been reiterated and made clear that there will be zero tolerance towards misuse of prescription drugs and erring firms and medical shop keepers will be dealt with sternly under law, they added.
