42-year-old lady drowns to death in Ganderbal

Ganderbal, Nov 29: A 42-year-old woman died after drowning in a canal in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday evening officials said.


An official said that one lady aged around 42 years old identified as Mrs  Rehti Begum wife of Abdul Salam Chopan a resident of Ganiwan drowned in a canal in the district, however, after hectic efforts the body was retrieved from the canal by a team of police, and locals.

Meanwhile, police took cognizance of this incident.
