DLC under PM-FME held at Ganderbal

Committee selects Walnut as ODOP under PM-FME scheme

Ganderbal, Nov 10: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today chaired a meeting of District Level Committee under Prime Minister’s Formalization Micro Food Processing Enterprise (PM-FME) scheme for selection of One District One Product (ODOP) at VC Room Mini Secretariat, here.

The meeting was attended by all Committee members and other concerned from allied departments.

At the outset, threadbare discussions regarding the various products, their productivity, processing perspective, market viability etc. were held and finally after taking into consideration all the key parameters, Walnut has been selected as ODOP under PMFME scheme.

Further four cases for selection under PMFME Scheme were also discussed in the meeting out of which 02 cases have been selected.

The beneficiaries were also interviewed during the meeting by the Deputy Commissioner regarding their products.
