DC Kishtwar discusses post B2V4 Action Plan with Line Departments

Calls for prompt redressal of people’s grievances; speedy execution of Gram Panchayat Development Plans   

Kishtwar, Nov 7: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav, today chaired a meeting of District and sectoral officers of all line departments and discussed the post Action Plan for the immediate redressal of grievances recorded during Back to Village phase fourth programme.

The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning, Mohammad Iqbal; Assistant Commissioner Development, Atul Dutt Sharma; District panchayat Officer,  (Nodal officer B2V4) Sunil Bhutyal; SDM Paddar, Dr Rishi Sharma besides District officers.

A threadbare discussion was held on modalities to be adopted by all line departments to redress the grievances and demands highlighted in each Panchayat and recorded by Visiting officers during B2V4 pertaining to their respective departments.

The Deputy Commissioner asked the departments to work in a collective and collaborative manner to achieve tangible results.  “Every department will ensure 100 percent saturation of its welfare schemes in each Panchayat,” he directed.

He exhorted the line departments to come up with a comprehensive action plan to redress the grievances and concede the demands raised by the public during the Back to village phase fourth.

“Proper follow up of the grievances and demands projected by people during the gram sabhas and outreach programme is the soul of B2V4 programme rolled out by UT govt and it will be instrumental in extending the benefits of various developmental schemes to the tail end effectively,” he observed.

Referring to the Gram Panchayat Development Plan, the Deputy Commissioner asked the departments to direct   the field functionaries to meet on the first Monday of every month to discuss the preparation, implementation, execution and review of the Gram Panchayat Development Plan of the respective Panchayat.

He informed that Secretary Panchayat concerned shall be the Member Secretary of the said meeting and all Departments shall ensure presence of their representative/front line workers in the said meeting without fail.
