B2V4: 2nd Phase culminates in 43 Gram Panchayats of Bandipora

ADDC visits Gram Panchayat Mangnipora

Bandipora, Nov 1: The Second phase of Back to Village-4 (B2V-4) programme today  culminated at 43 Gram Panchayats in Bandipora district, with much enthusiasm and public participation.

 

The designated Visiting Officers along with supporting staff remained stationed at  their allocated village panchayats for two days and one night stay to listen to villagers and prepare Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) as per the needs of people of the village.

On day second of the second phase, Additional District Development Commissioner Ali Afsar khan  visited various Gram Panchayats of the district to personally monitor the proceedings of the ambitious Back to Village programme. He participated in the Gram Sabhas at panchayat Halqa Mangnipora and was accompanied by the concerned  Tehsildar and BDO.

Gram Sabhas were organised in all the 43 Panchayats under phase second of B2V4 and visiting officer’s participated in these special Gram Sabhas. Sports kits, soil health card’s, artisans registration cards, land passbooks, child care kits and indoor game kits were distributed among the beneficiaries by the visiting officers at their respective stations.

During the  second phase of B2V4 programme, the visiting officers were seen interacting with members of the Gram Sabha, administering pledges to make our system  and society corruption free.

The formulation of GPDP, distribution of land passbooks, inspection of public offices,  inspection of works taken up under various CSS, B2V and other schemes, inspection of Amrit Sarovar projects, awareness on Self Employment scheme and feedback on welfare schemes were some of the activities carried out during the second phase.

The visiting officers documented all the grievances projected during these days and assured them of the early redressal of their genuine issues and demands.

The resource persons also educated the public about scores of welfare schemes and programmes being implemented in the district and motivated them to avail the benefits of the same.
