Diwali celebrated by Indian Army in Kupwara with Awam and Orphan Girls

Diwali is celebrated every year & it symbolises the spiritual “victory of light over darkness, good over evil”

Kupwara, Oct 24:As millions of lamps of Diwali illuminate life with happiness, joy, peace and health all across India, taking celebration further Indian Army in Kupwara also shared happiness of the festival with Awam and troops. Soldiers celebrated festival with locals by distribution of sweets and exchange of heartfelt wishes between each other.

The families of Indian Army took the celebrations further to Orphanage in Bumhama to distribute sweets and gifts to the orphan girls.

Celebration like this cement the bonding between locals and Indian Army showcasing close relationships in Kupwara. Compliments were passed to locals for their wishes, visiting Army locations and increasing the tempo of celebrations.
