Srinagar, Oct 22:Expressing  happiness over the teh JK LG Manoj Sinha’ led administration’s decision to redraw the list of social cast list and including 15 new classes to it under JK Reservation Act 2004, BJP JK spokesman Altaf Thakur said that step is a big one and historic that will give a big hope and relief to downtrodden sections of society.
He said that the announcement has once again proved the commitment of Prime Minister Narendera Modi towards upliftment of lower sections of society who otherwise were ignored by all previous regimes in JK. He said LG’s announcement will give justice and relief to Jats, West Pakistan Refugees, Gorkhas, Wagheys, Pony Walas besides other groups of lower strata and help them live a dignified life.
Thakur said that all previous regimes had used these sections of society for their vote bank politics to secure their chairs in power, however, they were left abandoned once people got elected to power. Thakur  thanked LG Sinha for this timely step and hoped more pro-people steps will be taken in future.
