Bandipora, Sep 28:Bandipora police arrested a notorious female drug peddler namely Posha Begum W/o Khursheed Ahmad Waza R/o Ward No. 05 Bandipora who was evading arrest after she managed to escape on 25 August 2022 during a raid on a residential house of one person namely Khursheed Ahmad Waza @Mandaila S/o Gh Ahmad Waza R/o Ward No. 05 Bandipora and Case FIR No. 148/2022 NDPS Act was registered in PS Bandipora.Keeping the sensitivity of matter in mind , a special investigation team was constituted to trace her by SSP Bandipora Shri Mohmad Zahid-JKPS under the supervision of DYSP HQRS Bandipora Shafat Mohmad-JKPS.
Yesterday early morning ,different teams of PS Bandipora one headed by SHO PS Bandipora Insp.Ashiq Hussain & the another one headed by psi Saqib Ahmad & Psi Rakesh Kumar after getting specific information regarding her presence in Bandipora ,that was corroborated with technical assistance, different location in the district were raided to arrest her & she was arrested fro. The said lady drug peddler was produced before the Hon’ble court Bandipora and was granted judicial remand.
