182 Trainees Received Certificates at Annual Convocation of ITI Shopian

Talented, Skilled youth are going to make the future better:  DDC Member

Shopian, Sep 17:The  annual convocation of Industrial Training Institute Shopian was  held today at ITI Shopian.
DDC Member, Muzafar Jan was Chief Guest on the occasion.
Superintendent ITI Fida Mohammad, Representatives of Industrial Estates Lassipora, Staff members and a large gathering of trainees were present on the occasion.
More than 182 passout trainees received certificates on the occasion besides felicitation of topper with momentos.
Speaking on the occasion DDC Member congratulated the passout trainees for achieving success in different trades.
He said the skill department has introduced new trades in ITI Shopian and urged youth to come forward and choose the trade of their  choice, for becoming an  employer rather than an employee.
He said ITIs and other skill institutes are working efficiently to make youth skillful in different trades.
He urged youth to upgrade skills to meet the demand of the market.
He said that in the present world of competition, the talented and skilled youth are going to make the future more brighter.
DDC Member advised youth to avail career opportunities and stay away from drugs.
Speaking on the occasion, Superintendent ITI Shopian said that  skilled training is imparted by ITI to produce quality and  skilled manpower.
During the convocation, Vote of thanks was  presented by Supervisor ITI Shopian, who in his address apprised the chair regarding various new trades taken up in the Institute.
