Public Grievance redressal Camp held at Manasbal

ADDC listens issues of PRIs, locals of block Safapora

Ganderbal, Aug 18: District Administration Ganderbal today held Public Grievance redressal Camp at Manasbal as a part of weekly block Diwas which was presided over by Additional District Development Commissioner, Khurshid Ahmad Shah.

The program was attended by ASP Ganderbal, Feroz Yehya, CPO, Irfan Giri, ACP, ACD, CEO WMDA, CMO, CEO, DDC member Safapora, BDC Chairperson Safapora, PRIs besides other officers and official of line departments.

During the proceedings of block Diwas, PRIs raised a number of grievances related to better water and power supply, upgradation of roads, upgradation of health infrastructure, ATM and J&K bank branch, SWM Plant, macdamization of Safapora Beehama road, restoration of springs/ponds and other issues of public importance were highlighted.

The ADDC gave patient hearing to the issues raised on the occasion and several grievances were redressed on the spot and necessary directions were issued to concerned officers for the redress of the rest on immediate basis.

Speaking on the occasion, the ADDC said that purpose of organizing Block Diwas was to facilitate face to face interaction between the common masses and PRIs with administration so that issues requiring intervention of district administration were disposed of on priority, while issues involving policy matters be taken up at appropriate levels.

He also urged the officers to works with zeal and close coordination of PRIs to achieve targets on time.
