Anantnag, Aug 16 : In a shocking incident, a newborn baby was found dead in Sherbagh area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday, officials said here.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the body of baby was found in a water body in Sherbagh area.
“It seems someone dumped the baby’s body and threw into water body,” he said, adding body was taken to a nearby health facility for medico-legal formalities
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the matter.
