IAF pilot’s village in mourning

Jammu, July 29 :Dablair village in Ranbir Singh Pura sector in Jammu region has been in mourning since it became known that Flt Lt Advitiya Bal had died in a MiG-21 crash in Rajasthan. He was 26.


Bal was among two pilots who died on Thursday’s crash at Barmer.
“Bal was the elder brother. The younger one was pursuing engineering in Delhi,” a relative said.
Some officers from the administration and the police reached the house of Bal to offer condolences. Social media platforms were flooded with condolences.
