Lady Drug peddler held along with 250gm Charas like substance in Baramulla: Police

Srinagar, July 08: Police on Friday said that they arrested a lady along with 250gram of charas like substance in Wagoora area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
In a handout to GNS, the police said that on routine naka checking, Police Kreeri arrested one lady drug peddler namely Bilkees Akhter wife of Ab Rehman Malik @ Military resident of Kalantra Payeen, District Baramulla and recovered 250 Grams of Charas like substance from her possession.

The police spokesman further stated that worth to mention here that the lady was accompanied with her spouse who fled away after advantage of darkness, efforts are on to arrest him.
Cases under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Kreeri and investigation set in motion, he said.
General People of the area hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and showed their willingness to support police to eradicate menace of drugs from the society which is the real sign of Police Public relationship,reads the statement.
