Sopore Police solved theft case, accused arrested, stolen property recovered

Sopore, July 4 :On 28 June 2022 Police Station Tarzoo received a written complaint from one Waseem Ahmad Dar R/O Naseembagh Sopore to the effect that some unknown burglars entered into his shop and stole Cigarettes.

Upon the receipt of this information, case FIR No. 59/2022 U/S 457, 380 IPC Stands registered in Police Station Tarzoo and investigation was set into motion.

A team was constituted, and during the course of investigation one person namely Amjid Hussain Kambay S/O Muhammad Ishaq Kambay R/O Hygam Sopore confessed his involvement in the crime. Cigarettes worth lacs were recovered from the possession of arrested accused.

Furthermore, the investigation of the case is going on and more recoveries are expected.

The general public is advised to install CCTV cameras, to as it helps in solving such crimes.
