DSEK Proposes 10-Day Summer Break In Kashmir Valley From Monday

Srinagar, July 1 : In view of the sweltering temperatures, the government has ordered 10-day summer break in Kashmir Valley.

“It is hereby ordered that all the government educational institutions and recognized private schools upto higher secondary level functioning in Kashmir division shall observe summer vacation from July 4 to July 14,2022,” reads a government order by BK Singh (Principal Secretary To Government School Education Department, a copy of which lies with GNS.

Earlier Directorate of School Education Kashmir proposed the 10-day summer break in all educational institutional within its jurisdiction from July 4.

When contacted by GNS, Director School Education Kashmir, Dr Tasaduq Hussain, had responded in affirmative to the proposal so made by him.
