India records 18,819 new Covid cases, 39 deaths

New Delhi, June 30: India has registered 18,819 new Covid-19 cases, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.

According to the ministry’s bulle

India records 18,819 new Covid cases, 39 deaths

tin, the total caseload rose to 4,34,52,164 while the death toll rose to 5,25,116 after 39 more people succumbed to the disease.

Meanwhile, 13,827 people recovered from the disease, taking the tally of recoveries to 4,28,22,493. The recovery rate currently stands at 98.55 per cent.

The active caseload currently stands at 1,04,555, the figures showed.

As per the bulletin, 86.23 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far.

India has administered 197.61 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive.
