Pak intruder shot dead by BSF on Jammu border

Jammu, June 27 :Alert troops of Border Security Force early morning on Monday shot dead one Pakistani intruder along the international border in Ranbir Singh Pura sector of Jammu.

“Own troops this morning noticed a suspicious movement across the fence in Baquarpur Border Outpost area,” BSF spokesman said.

He said, “Our domination party in night noticed a person coming from Pakistan side aggressively towards the fence with an intention to cross the fence,” adding, “our party challenged him to stop but he paid no attention to it and continued his movement towards the fence.”

Left with no option our troops fired three rounds at him due to which he fell down immediately ahead of fencing,” he said.

The spokesman said early morning the search party checked the area and found the dead body of an intruder close to the fence.

“Nothing recovered from him. Body being handed over to Police for further disposal,” he said.
