AMF celebrates Youm e Hajini day , releases Two books of Kashmir’s literary icon professor Mohiuddin Hajini

Bandipora,21-June: Ahsan Memorial Foundation organised a book release event at Town Hall Hajin of Bandipora district on Tuesday .
This function was held at Town hall Municipal Committee Hajin which was attended by galaxy of writers poets, journalists and intellectuals from different corners of Kashmir.
Book release function was presided by president Adabi Markaz Kamraz Mohammad Amin Bhat , Professor Bashir Basheer ,Fayaz Tilgami and president AMF Abdul Ahad also shared the presidium .
Two books of Late Professor Mohi ud din Hajini ‘Makalat” and Gaamo Manz Pheer Pheer” edited and complied by Abdul Ahad Hajini were released by Ahsan Memorial Foundation.
The President of the Ahsan Memorial Foundation Abdul Ahad Hajni delivered a welcome address and gave a hearty welcome to the guests and expressed his views on the literary works of renowned writer, scholar, researcher, translator professor Mohi ud din Hajini .
He gave a brief outline of the foundation’s performance, reiterating that in just a few months after the organization’s inception, five major unveiling ceremonies were held, including nine books by the Ahsan Foundation .
In his address he gave a historical background of the Hajni Day. He said the best way to pay tributes to late Hajni is to carry forward his mission of safeguarding Kashmiri language and literature.
The speakers while expressing glorious tributes to Late Professor Hajni, highlights his contribution in the fields Kashmir art, culture and socio-political developments. They said Professor Hajni had made promotion and development of Kashmir art and culture as a mission of his life. He perused this mission throughout his life as an act of faith.
Professor Bashir Basheer in his presidential address paid homage to Prof. Hajni by remembering his literary, social, political and linguistic services. He appreciated the work of Ahsan Memorial Foundation
