Modi takes mother’s blessings on her birthday

Gandhinagar, June 18 :Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday took blessings of his mother Heeraba on her birthday by washing her feet in Gujarat’s capital Gandhinagar.


Modi reached mother Heeraba’s house, who lives with her younger brother, on the occasion of her 100th birthday. He washed the feet of his mother and also took her blessings. He stayed with them for about 30 minutes and wished Hiraba good health and long life.

Modi had reached Raj Bhavan on Friday evening for a two-day visit to Gujarat.

After visit to his mother’s house, the PM will inaugurate the rebuilt Shri Kalika Mata temple at Pavagadh hill at around 9:15 am. He will then visit to Virasat Van at around 11:30 am. At around 12.30 pm, he will participate in Gujarat’s pride campaign in Vadodara.

During this, Modi will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for projects worth over Rs 21,000 crore.
