Cloudburst triggers flash flood in Baramulla village

Baramulla, June 16, : Several houses were damaged after flash floods triggered by cloud burst hit Baramulla village here in North Kashmir.

Local sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that there was a cloud burst preceeded by gusty winds that caused flash floods in Bakhipora village of Rafiabad Sopore.

Sources added that residential houses of Muhammad Maqbool Lone, Abdul Rashid Najar, Manzoor Ahmad and Abdul Rehman suffered damages due to the gushing waters that entered into several houses.

Police and civil administration officials have reached the spot to assess the situation.
