Mayor Srinagar Junaid Azim Mattu visited ward 22 Shutra Shahi

Srinagar, June 11 :Mayor Srinagar Junaid Azim Mattu today along with concerned Corporator visited ward 22 Shutra Shahi.

He was accompanied with Joint Commissioner  works, S.E Drainage, Executive Engineers from SMC, PHE, R& B, Mechanical Division, Chief Sanitation Officer , Transport Officer, Public Relation Officers and others.

Mattu took review of civil works at different locations in the ward.

While interacting with the local delegation there, he was requested to provide a public parking by people so that the residents further don’t find any difficulty in parking their vehicles because of limited space people have there.

He also visited a public park in the area and accordingly passed on directions for proper maintenance and management of park to Floriculture department.

The locals of the area also raised shortage of water in the area on which Mayor promptly passed on direction to PHE to resolve the water scarcity issue in the area at an earliest and process for uninterrupted water supply to the people of the area.

There was also an encroachment for which Mayor passed on directions for its prompt removal on spot.

He also visited Community/ Marriage Hall to see its functionality and directed the concerned for its renewal of furnishing and painting.

Regarding blockade of drains Mayor directed Joint Commissioner Works to get the drain repaired in one of the areas of the ward.
