Dir Info Akshay Labroo approves DPC proposals

Promoted employees hail decision

Srinagar, May 31: Director of Information and Public Relations, Akshay Labroo, cleared the proposal of Departmental Promotion Committee of the Directorate of Information, Joint Directorate of Information  Kashmir Division and Joint Directorate of Information Jammu Division, which was held by concerned chairpersons very recently.

More than one hundred employees of the entire department were promoted to the next level of different posts.

While congratulating the employees, the Director said that it gives him immense pleasure to declare the promotion of the officials who have been working very hard to perform their duties diligently.

He asked all the promoted officials and officers to work with added zeal and dedication to make the department proud. He said it is the right of employees to get service benefits on time to keep them
motivated to take additional responsibility and execute duty more efficiently.

While reacting to the clearance of DPC, the employees expressed their gratitude to Director Information, Akshay Labroo, Joint Director Information Kashmir, Inam ul Haq Siddique, and Joint Director Information Jammu Namrata Dogra for clearing DPC and addressing the
long pending demand of employees.

The employees also hailed Principal Secretary to Government, Information Department, Rohit Kansal, and former Director Information, Rahul Pandey, for timely intervention in issuing formal orders.

Meanwhile, employees also appreciated the role played by the I/C Section Officer, JL Raina, besides the clerical staff, in helping complete the entire process.

Moreover, all the employees expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of Departmental Promotion Committee and addressing the issues of employees. The DPC issue was pending for more than five years, and employees had made an earnest request to the concerned officers to
look into the matter and address them.
